Annual Rideau Canal Outing

It was a relatively warmer day yesterday, so we took our annual trip to the canal for a Beaver Tail and some hot chocolate. Maggie seemed to really like all the people and excitement. She seemed to quite enjoy being outdoors as well, despite all of mom's worrying about her being cold. We saw quite a few moms and dads pushing running strollers on the ice while skating. We'll have to get into that next year!

Xander and Maggie actually kind of played together last night. It was fun watching them grabbing for whichever toy the other had. It was just a taste of the game of "Mine!" that's sure to come in the future. Ha!
